1 września 2016 r. w sali gimnastycznej naszej szkoły szkolnego odbyło się uroczyste rozpoczęcie roku szkolnego 2016/17.
Dyrektor Zespołu Szkół Pani Danuta Kowalkowska-Fiłoniuk przywitała Gości, rodziców, nauczycieli, pracowników i przede wszystkim młodzież.
Dyrektor Szkoły przypomniała, że nie każdy 1 września był taki „piękny”! Pamięć wydarzeń września 1939r. zebrani uczcili minutą ciszy, delegacja młodzieży pod opieką p. M. Olszewskiej udała się pod pomnik poległych, aby złożyć wiązankę kwiatów i zapalić symboliczny znicz.
Inaugurację zaszczycili swoją obecnością Wicestarosta Pani Iwona Sierocka oraz przewodniczący Rady Powiatu Pan Lech Dąbrowski reprezentując Samorząd Powiatu Płockiego. Młodzież, grono pedagogiczne, pracownicy administracji i obsługi, usłyszeli życzenia „udanego powrotu do szkoły i zapału do dalszej pracy” od władz samorządowych, p. D. Kowalkowskiej – Fiłoniuk dyrektora Szkoły, M. Młodziejewskiego przewodniczącego Samorządu Uczniowskiego. Szczególne życzenia skierowane były do uczniów, rozpoczynających naukę w klasach pierwszych, pod opieką wychowawców:
kl. I LO – wych. p. Joanna Woźniak,
kl. I TI – wych. p. Dorota Izydorska,
kl. I TH/TK – wych. p. Karina Świerczyńska,
kl. I K/M wych. p. Barbara Łukaszewska.
Wszyscy są przekonani, że wybór „Staszica” to… dobry wybór!!!
Na dzisiejszej Uroczystości świadectwa promocyjne otrzymali uczniowie klas III TE/TW oraz II TH, którzy w czasie wakacji odbywali praktyki zawodowe. Wychowawczynie klas wręczyły nagrody książkowe za najlepsze wyniki w nauce Iwonie Rutkowskiej z kl. II TH oraz Patrycji Jędrzejak z III TE.
Po zakończeniu uroczystości młodzież udała się do sal lekcyjnych na pierwsze spotkanie z wychowawcami.
