         Trzyosobowy zespół uczniów: Mateusz Petrykowski z Technikum Pojazdów Samochodowych, Krystian Tarka i Adrian Kotowicz z Zasadniczej Szkoły Zawodowej z Zespołu Szkół im. Stanisława Staszica w Gąbinie w dniu 26 maja 2017 r. reprezentowali szkołę w rejonowych eliminacjach XXI Ogólnopolskiego Młodzieżowego Turnieju Motoryzacyjnego.

         Eliminacje Młodzieżowego Turnieju Motoryzacyjnego zostały przeprowadzone na terenie Gostynińskiego Centrum Edukacji. Do turnieju przystąpiło jedenaście drużyn.

         W trakcie turnieju oceniana była widza  z przepisów ruchu drogowego i historii polskiej motoryzacji. Podczas turnieju uczestnicy musieli wykazać się umiejętnościami praktycznymi w zakresie przygotowania pojazdu do jazdy, jazdy sprawnościowej samochodem i motorowerem, udzielania pomocy przedmedycznej.
