Już po raz trzeci wolontariusze włączyli się w przygotowania wigilii środowiskowej organizowanej przez Miejsko-Gminny Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej wraz z Burmistrzem Miasta i Gminy Gąbin. W piątek (7 grudnia br.) uczennice II TH wraz z Panią Ludmiłą Koprowicz pomagały w przygotowaniu dekoracji hali sportowej do niedzielnego spotkania, natomiast w dniu 9 grudnia br. zaangażowali się członkowie Klubu Ośmiu z klas maturalnych liceum i technikum: Monika Jarosińska, Natalia Jasińska, Justyna Józwik, Angelika Kalinowska, Luiza Nowicka, Zuzanna Rojek i Kamil Dymek, a także absolwent Marcin Bartnicki pod opieką Pani Marzeny Sosińskiej. Młodzież poświęciła swój wolny czas, by wspomóc pracowników MOPS w takich pracach jak nakrywanie stołów, obsługa przybyłych gości na wigilię i sprzątanie stołów. Niedzielna uroczystość rozpoczęła się tuż po godz. 13-tej od oficjalnego powitania przez Pana Krzysztofa Jadczaka, Burmistrza Miasta i Gminy Gąbin, odczytania fragmentu Ewangelii wg św. Łukasza o narodzeniu Pana Jezusa przez Księdza Andrzeja Świderskiego, Proboszcza Parafii Św. Mikołaja w Gąbinie oraz złożenia życzeń przez Pana Konrada Niedzielskiego, Kierownika Miejsko-Gminnego Ośrodka Pomocy Społecznej w Gąbinie. Pan Burmistrz i Pan Kierownik podziękowali wszystkim osobom przygotowującym wigilię za zaangażowanie. Następnie zebrani podzielili się opłatkiem i obejrzeli występ dzieci z Przedszkola Samorządowego im. Króla Maciusia Pierwszego w Gąbinie. Po uczcie duchowej przyszła kolej na coś dla ciała – tradycyjne potrawy wigilijne. Podczas spotkania panowała miła atmosfera, która wprowadziła świąteczny nastrój mimo jesiennej aury.
Bardzo cieszymy się z aktywności wolontariuszy, którzy chętnie poświęcają się dla innych. Jesteśmy z Was bardzo dumni! Dziękujemy bardzo!
