26 maja naszą szkołę odwiedziła absolwentka Ewelina Gaballa (dawniej Lendzion), która przez 2,5 roku mieszkała w jednym z najbogatszych krajów świata- Królestwie Arabii Saudyjskiej. W spotkaniu z nią uczestniczyli uczniowie 3-ech klas: I LO, I TI oraz III TI. Ta nietypowa lekcja, zorganizowana przez panią Agatę Chyrę, trwała 45 minut.
Prezentacja rozpoczęła sie od najważniejszych faktów na temat tego państwa między innymi dotyczących skrupulatnego sposobu legitymowania się. Poźniej uczniowie dowiedzieli się bardzo wielu ciekawostek dotyczących prawa drogowego i karnego, sposobów spędzania wolnego czasu, czy ważnej roli religii. Zaskakującą informacją było to, że w Arabii wszystko jest zamykane 5 razy dziennie na czas każdej z pięciu modlitw. Młodzież usłyszała też o segregacji kobiet i mężczyzn oraz jej prawdziwych powodach, a także o zmieniającej się modzie i powolnym odchodzeniu kobiet od zasłaniania się „od stóp do głów”. Ponadto dowiedzieliśmy się, że chociaż Saudyjki nie mogą zrobić sobie prawa jazdy to jednak każda ma swojego osobistego szofera. Nasza dawna uczennica podzieliła się także z nami swoimi osobistymi wspomnieniami m.in z pobytu w saudyjskim szpitalu na oddziale porodowym gdzie panują bardzo wysokie standardy opieki.
Chociaż większość z nas pewnie nigdy nie odwiedzi tego kraju to z pewnością taka garść cennej wiedzy poszerzyła nasze horyzonty.
