Nasza Szkoła z rąk Zastępcy Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich, pana Stanisława Trociuka została uhonorowana odznaką Szkoły Równego Traktowania.

Uroczyste wręczenie odbyło się w Biurze Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich w Warszawie.

Do  programu  zainicjowanego przez Centrum im. Profesora Bronisława Geremka zakwalifikowano jedynie 30 spośród 230 szkół z całej Polski.

Warto również dodać, że nie wszystkie biorące udział w inicjatywie szkoły zostały odznaczone, niektóre otrzymały podziękowania i rekomendacje do dalszej pracy.

Tym bardziej cieszymy się, że szereg działań w tym warsztaty o charakterze antydyskryminacyjnym zostały dostrzeżone przez kapitułę i wyróżnione tym prestiżowym odznaczeniem.

W Staszicu tematyka projektu „Szkoła równego traktowania” była realizowana podczas warsztatów, w których wzięli udział uczniowie klas II LO, II TK/TH, przedstawiciele Samorządu Uczniowskiego, wolontariatu oraz inni zainteresowani ( w sumie 63 osoby). Oprócz  wspólnego oglądania filmu, dyskusji o stereotypach, dyskryminacji i przemocy, uczyliśmy się jak praktyczne radzić sobie ze zjawiskiem mowy nienawiści i szeroko rozumianej dyskryminacji oraz w jaki sposób pomóc osobom dotkniętym np. bullyingiem. Szczególnym zainteresowaniem cieszył się mechanizm tak zwanego komunikatu FUKO oraz quiz a także poczęstunek i koncert.

Była również możliwość podpisania deklaracji przeciwdziałania dyskryminacji i mowie nienawiści czego dowód stanowi pamiątkowy znaczek HejtStop.

Podczas konferencji podsumowującej Pan Trociuk przedstawił uczestnikom działalność Biura Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich i możliwości wsparcia, jakich może udzielić dla inicjatyw równościowych.

Marta Rawłuszko z Towarzystwa Edukacji Antydyskryminacyjnej przedstawiła raport z badań „Edukacja Antydyskryminacyjna. Ostatni dzwonek!” skupiając się na tym, w jaki sposób kuratoria i inne instytucje oświatowe przeciwdziałają i reagują na nierówne traktowanie w szkole.

Joanna Durlik z Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego przedstawiła zaś wyniki naszego zeszłorocznego projektu badawczego „(Nie)łatwe powroty do domu? Badanie funkcjonowania dzieci i młodzieży powracających z emigracji.”

Projekt objęty był honorowymi patronatami Ministerstwa Edukacji Narodowej, Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich, Rzecznika Praw Dziecka, Polskiego Komitetu ds. UNESCO, Małopolskiego Niepublicznego Ośrodka Doskonalenia Nauczycieli oraz Komitetu Ochrony Praw Dziecka.

Dziękujemy Pani Dyrektor Danucie Kowalkowskiej-Fiłoniuk za wsparcie i cierpliwość podczas realizacji projektu.

Pani Izabeli Witczak- naszej trenerce z Centrum im. Profesora Bronisława Geremka z koordynację naszych działań i rozwianie wszystkich wątpliwości oraz Pani Tatianie Jastrzębskiej za pomoc techniczną i wsparcie merytoryczne.

Specjalne podziękowania dla naszego szkolnego wolontariatu Klubu 8 oraz Samorządu Uczniowskiego  za zaplanowanie i zrealizowanie projektu.

Zapraszamy wszystkie zainteresowane osoby do zgłaszania się do kolejnych działań w nadchodzącym roku szkolnym. Tym razem będziemy zajmować się szacunkiem, akceptacją i tolerancją w relacjach z innymi ludźmi.
