Mając na uwadze rozwój technologii komunikacyjno-informacyjnej i powszechność Internetu uczniowie Zespołu Szkół im. Stanisława Staszica w Gąbinie pod kierownictwem Pani Elizy Bałdyga i Pana Piotra Pietracho przeprowadzili cykl zajęć edukacyjno-informacyjne skierowanych do uczniów klas trzecich pobliskich Gimnazjów dotyczące bezpieczeństwa w sieci pod kątem hasła pod jakim obchodzony jest Dzień Bezpiecznego Internetu w 2017 r : „Razem zmieniamy Internet na lepsze”.
Zajęcia przeprowadziliśmy w Gimnazjach w Pacynie, Sannikach, Szczawinie Kościelnym, Iłowie, Łącku, Słubicach oraz Gąbinie.
W każdej ze szkół w trakcie 45-minutowych zajęć przeprowadzona została ankieta na temat wiedzy młodzieży dotyczącej bezpieczeństwa w sieci Internet oraz zasad korzystania z portali społecznościowych oraz zjawiska „hejtu”. Uczniowie klas informatycznych zaangażowani w akcji przedstawili prezentację poświęcone aspektom bezpiecznego korzystania z sieci Internet: „Dbaj o swój Face” oraz „Lekcja bezpieczeństwa”.

Spotkania podsumowaliśmy krótkim quizem, mającym na celu zwiększenie świadomości zagrożeń, z jakimi spotykają się użytkownicy sieci Internet oraz utrwalenie właściwych wzorców zachowania w sieci i naukę poszukiwania pomocy w sytuacjach zagrożeń. Uczestników i zwycięzców nagrodziliśmy drobnymi nagrodami niespodziankami.
W poszczególnych szkołach najlepsze wyniki z QUIZU osiągnęli:

Ankieta i quiz przeprowadzone zostały za pomocą zestawu do ankiet i testów elektronicznych iVote, który umożliwi nam natychmiastowe otrzymanie wyników konkursu i ich analizę.
Na koniec wszystkich spotkań uczniowie przedstawiliśmy krótką informację o Zespole Szkół im. St. Staszica w Gąbinie.
