A good update from the regular DEFT model, this is a great new option for smaller finger-operated trackballs. I am unable to map function keys with the current state of the software, but that would be more of a bonus than a necessity for me. It is a personal preference if you like a thumb-operated trackball or finger-operated. I can't say that it did because it actually developed a different issue.
