Every pre-owned oboe and English horn is carefully inspected before any instrument leaves our workshop. Our instrument guy says it is in good shape. All keys were removed cleaned and polished.

The keys and plating appear to be very good quality and in very good condition[note however that, as shown on the photos, the long right hand G# key had been repaired before my time] A few pads look like they have been around for a while(yellowish) lower B, for example] but all work fine. Along with private lessons& learning to make my own reeds, this oboe allowed me to have my own distinctive'v. Sold as seen. Please see photos. No broken or cracked wood. This Oboe has an excellent scale and response, dark tone and exquisite voicing, outstanding german craftsmanship! No cracks or damage. Please feel free to email with additional questions. Note: some Lucerne stencils NOT by Kreul. The"standard" Kreul oboe, though somewhat"dark" sounding, still has an element of brightness. Good An item in used but good condition.

With all cork pads most are new! No restocking fees. The operation doesn’t have any problem. Wood. No pitting or finger wear. This oboe has very nice intonation at A= 440. and a nice full tone and plays free very little resistance. But might need replacing.
