Even tho' it was very good, I thought it was a tad too oily and next time would reduce the oil to 1/2 c. I made a glaze of the juice from one lemon, and powdered sugar. Thanks! Would you recommend using cool whip and a lemon pudding for a Frosting? So I made it in two square pans, but will it hurt to freeze one for another time?

Success! Bake as you normally would. I couldn't find lemon frosting so I squeezed 1/2 lemon and some lemon rind in and it was sooooo lemony fresh and delicous. Delicious! Would this work with Lime pie filling. I glazed mine with a mixture of 1/4 c. softened butter, 1/4 c. lemon juice and 2 c. powdered sugar. The cake turned out fantastic but unfortunately the frosting did not turn out fluffy like yours. Will definitely be making soon and will update on how it turns out (: have a great fourth of July! Can you make this in round cake pans and layer it?? So this was a match made in heaven.
