food was good and attractively plated. The restaurant was very accommodating in ordering a birthday cake from Hannaford's and the server again was great in serving and making it special. Ambience is excellent. We truly value the opinions of our loyal guests over the years and we’re sorry this recent meal at Sheerwater left you with this impression of our cuisine. The piano was too loud and some of the customers were very loud and there was no effort by the staff to quiet them down. WOW!

We are Hilton Diamond so the buffet comes at a discount and we paid maybe $15 per person who wanted it, our kids ate free so my guess it's probably $25-$30 per person regularly. Is Shearwater at Stage Neck Inn currently accepting reservations? We arrived early and we were accommodated early at a nice water view spacious table for 6. Our server was (apparently) new to her task and forgot to put our order in for our appetizers, and they were forgotten until I mentioned to the person delivering our entrees of the oversight. The wine list was uninspired .
Menus. It was amazing. Stopped in for lunch on a sunny day and the view from our outdoor table was worth the trip all by itself, as were the Adirondack chairs we relaxed in after our meal.
