A friend was suggesting that, if he were to panic buy, he’d pic up a Rec7. It got me thinking: why the hell would Barrett, who makes such fantastic firearms, decide to put a stainless steel lightweight barrel on a high-volume rifle?
I haven’t been able to shoot these but I have handled them in a store and dry fired them. According to their website, they donât offer replacement barrels either. Anyone have experience with a heavily used Rec7. Barrett has an ALG ACT trigger which is ”okay” but not great. This time from Barrett, manufacturers of big fifties and keepers of at least one LAPD .50.
