I know there is a mouse and keyboard adapter for the PS4, I'm guessing you could use that for terraria but I don't know for sure. The inability to easily read an enemies health or interact with an object. keyboard is truly a terrible device for gaming, but people memorize the location of keys and it allows for many options in games. If any do please tell me which ones and how to do it (if there it is complicated).

It largely depends on your comfort level. It can be a little quirky to hook up, and as of now (few weeks after 1.3 Terraria released) it has a few bugs that they're trying to patch quickly. I want to get console terraria so I can play with my friends on console but I can’t find out if any consoles support keyboard and mouse. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast.
I like switching weapons in and out of my hotbar and that is really difficult and uncomfortable on console.

Because that Terraria "relies" on quick precise mouse aiming and you're playing on a version of the game that has keyboard and mouse support, leaving controller support "unnecessary" to most people and thus "unimportant" to most people. It takes less skill to be precise with a mouse than it does with a controller joystick since the mouse uses the weight of the hand while the controller uses a thumb.

WASD movement is really terrible, but it's universal. Sure, there is a weird auto lock on feature on console that allows you to simply press "B" or "O" and interact with the closest thing to your character, but the money trough does not have this "auto lock".

I think M&Kb support will make console terraria easier to play, especially for those of us who want to do a Yo-yo playthrough. Now that it is on sale I might give it a try.

1.) Mouse and Keyboard Support on Console. Thanks. Plus, why would someone get terraria on console, just to get it on pc? Since weapons like these require cursor aim, it makes them extremely difficult to use effectively on console since the smart cursor is too fast and the cross-cursor is way too slow.
