I have deer hunted for the past 35 years and have used every type, (if not every) treestand on the market. The Equalizer's supposedly are the same stand but with the leveler. anyone use this type of stand, and if so...how do you like it? That is very important for one who had to start over and shoot opposite handed. Once again, thank you for an awesome product!! Once in position I can stand, lean or sit and still take my shot without any interference from straps or framing in almost 360 degrees. Even with those positive attributes, the stand became more important to me after 2011.

The buckshot was alot easier to carry through the woods with the padded shoulder straps that locked in the middle.But I will say this,Even though it is very comfortable,it is no comparison in comfort to the gunslinger.You can lay down and go to sleep in that thing. thanks again! Never hunted out of a gunslinger so I could not offer a good comparison. Some of the sources of information BBB relies on are temporarily unavailable. They are very comfy and stable but a little bulky/heavy for carrying long distances. At one time, I thought the mechanism might be too complex, but this added complexity truly makes it absolutely quiet and easy to deploy. It's adjustability puts me at the best advantage. It was just too big to move around as much as I pull a stand. It is safe, comfortable, quiet and easy to use.
